I will ask our Public Works Department about the possibility of more signage here. When they ahve responded I will update this issue.

We have taken a look at the sign situation and it is adequately signed for one-way traffic. Our experience is that the primary violators of this are residents on the street. I will make Capt. Craghead of the Downtown Police District aware so his officers can keep an eye out.

I strongly disagree that it is not the people that live on this street that are going the wrong way! All of the traffic I see going the wrong way is through traffic to South Saunders Street. I can take a poll of the people that live on this street if that would help resolve this problem. I would highly recommend that a police officer sit on the corner of Florence and Dorothea for just a few hours and see how many cars you catch going the wrong way. Thank you for your help to rectify this situation in a timely manner.

The beat officer will be patrolling here to keep an eye out. There is not a lot of traffic on Dorothea so we may be hard-pressed to actually cite anyone but we'll do our best.
