  If the noise is coming from Malden Street, then I concur. One person has a very loud vehicle which is often started early in the am. It sounds like it has no muffler and is very disturbing.

  This is getting to be too much. This guy is backing a truck up with a muffler that sounds like a nascar racecar to the rear of his property and starting it 5 nights a week between 1:41 am and 2:43 am. He’s directly disturbing the two elderly neighbors behind him and the entire block at this point. Surely there are zoning and noise disturbance ordinances being infringed on. Ask the guy to move the truck to the front of his large driveway or quiet the muffler to Normal factory installed muffler on his new truck. This has been going on for weeks. Mufflers shouldn’t takeover the rights of an entire residential block

  I know he must warming the vehicle up for a while now because of the cold. When it is happening I want you to call the Dispatch Center and tell them about the noise when it occurs so a unit can go down and speak to him. We need to document the occurrences. You don't have to give your name, it can be anonymous. I have a report that he is out there for a while when he starts the vehicle, so a unit should be able to see him while he is there and advise him.

  Acknowledged, but that did not work, This is how neighborhoods decline... one noisy neighbor with no regard for anyone drags an otherwise quiet neighborhood down... maybe the town zoning or mayor can help

  The enjoyment of homes is being affected, making it a health and statutory nuisance. I believe neighbors are now recording the noise and times/days.
