Description
Grate will catch bike tires. Needs to be turned 90degrees or replaced.
This is the wrong grate type (should be a checkerboard, not a highway grille). All other grates on the High School campus are the checkerboard type. This grille would be correct on I-93 but not here.
Either needs to be replaced, or (at least) turned 90deg so that a bike going along the road doesn't wedge a tire between the rungs.

Below is a picture of why this is so dangerous. For some bicycles, the tire will drop between the bars and then catch, immediately stopping the bike and throwing the rider over the handle bars and hard onto the pavement.
Is this a DPW issue or a School Facilities issue?
